Required Outcomes

You will develop comprehensive individualized health and fitness programs for clients. You’ll receive coaching and training on our fitness systems and programs, however you have the flexibility to incorporate your training style and knowledge.

It is your job to motivate as you  hold a client accountable to his/her health and fitness program to ensure the best results possible. You will track client progress. To ensure a client’s successes, you’ll need to track and communicate current client progresses as well as challenges.  Knowing where a client is struggling with nutrition is as important as knowing how their strength, mobility and coordination are improving.  You will be able to effectively communicate the aforementioned information to us as well as to the client. You will MAINTAIN AN ACCEPTABLE client retention rate.

Perform fitness evaluations. Ideally, you’ll have some fitness assessment skills and can test for: body composition, body weight, girth measurements, blood pressure, heart rate, and various strength and flexibility tests. You do not need previous experience, but if you do, that’s a bonus.

Our TEAM needs you to be able to provide PROPER coaching, instruction, and motivation during a client training session.  This may require additional research on your part. You MUST have a good working knowledge of the human body (i.e. muscles, movements, functions, etc.), and be able to provide appropriate exercises for client’s goals and or restrictions.


Required Skills

These are the skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:

Good communication skills. You must LOVE working with people as you will be talking with our clients, who are VERY important us. You must be COMFORTABLE and ENGAGING in conversing in-person and on the phone, and know how to conduct yourself PROFESSIONALLY as you deliver clear instructions to the clients. MANNERS and PROFESSIONALISM are very high on the list here at LiV.

Previous personal training experience (fitness studio, health club, in-home trainer, etc.)
Basic nutrition knowledge
National Certification
Kinesiology degree
CPR certified


Pay Scale:

LiV compensates contract trainers beginning at $20/ hr for training clients of LiV
IF you have your own clientele and are training them inside of LiV then you pay a shop fee of $10/hr which we cap at $500 max/mth.

You could have a very well equipped Private Personal Training Studio at your disposal for a VERY reasonable rate.
